Investigators are searching for the man who robbed the Kaw Valley State Bank branch at 4800 SW 21st Monday afternoon.

According to police reports, a short black man wearing baggy carpenter jeans, dark, square sunglasses, and a red hoodie walked into the bank around 4:00 p.m. and passed the teller a note demanding money.

He then fled with an undisclosed amount of money and got into the passenger side of a maroon Mercury Grand Marquee.
