Topeka Shooting
A Topeka woman is recovering after being shot yesterday.
Topeka police say they were called to 210 NW Gordon on a report of a shooting early Sunday morning. They say 49 year-old Rebecca Dominguez reported that a black man approached her with a gun and demanded money.
Topeka police say when Dominguez told the man she had no money, he shot her.
Police say she was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
