Here's the list of community centers, with their hours, so you can stay healthy in their air conditioned surroundings.

For those seeking heat relief during the day, please visit a City of Topeka Community Center or the Salvation Army.

Central Park Community Center

The Salvation Army’s Social Service Lobby at 1620 SE 6th St is a "Cooling Station." Those that need reprieve from the heat are welcome to come during the hours of 9am-12pm and 1-4pm. The Evening Meal dining area serves as an additional Cooling Station from 4pm-5pm.
