Volunteers Offer Shopping List for Community Feast

EXPOCENTRE - Volunteers will march into the Agriculture Hall of the Kansas Expocentre Monday morning, and they won't stop getting ready for Thanksgiving next Thursday. Myron Johnson, whose mother Pauline was such a driving force in putting on the meal until her retirement last year, says these are the items they hope Topekans will donate:

Instant Potatoes
Canned Yams
Canned Cranberry Sauce
Green Beans
Stuffing Mixes
Canned Evaporated Milk
Chicken Broth

These items may be donated at Fire Station #5 at 21st and Western (just south of the Livestock Arena at the Expocentre) from now until the volunteer forces march into action next week. Thank You!
