The Washburn Experience

Performances at Washburn University promoted student research, scholarship and creativity.

The Washburn Apeiron was held around campus Friday. The event gave students in all areas of study a chance to present their work in an environment resembling a professional conference or performance venue.

While posters were on display and speeches were given in several locations, performances filled the halls of Carole Chapel and the Mulvane Art Museum over the noon hour. Amanda Mayo and Kassandra Williams were among those giving individual performances; several groups also shared their talents.

Several of the presentations fulfilled requirements of the Washburn Transformational Experience, a graduation requirement where students must demonstrate excellence in scholarly and creative activity; community service; leadership; or international education.
