It was day two of sessions held at the Capitol Plaza Hotel. The workshops focused on the theme, Justice for All Victims, providing professionals with additional tools to help them in their field. The conference coincides with National Crime Victims' Rights week.
"It's always great to continue to brush up...so sometimes seeing a different perspective or hearing a different perspective on things, hearing what trends are going on in different areas are recharging for us," says Dr. Todd Negola, Chief Psychologist, Federal Correctional Institute.
"I went to one workshop so far..you think you know it all, but you always learn something new each time. I attend the conferences everytime, I learn something that I didn't know before... very beneficial when helping the families I do through the criminal justice system," says long time attendee, Corrine Radke, victim advocate.
The 3 day conference wraps up Thursday, when Attorney General Stephen Six will present crime victim's service awards.
