Firefighters Hold Fundraiser to Honor Fallen Comrade
Topeka's Firefighters Union is raising money so they can take part in honoring a fallen comrade.
Off-duty IAAF members will work the tables at Cici's Pizza Thursday night.
The restaurant will donate 25% of its proceeds for the firefighter's trips to see Captain Tony Cox honored.
Cox's colleagues will travel to memorial services for fallen firefighters in Colorado September 20th and the national firefighters memorial in Maryland during the first week of October.
Captain Cox died while fighting a fire at Villa West Apartments last August.
