Topeka City Attorney to Leave

Topeka City Attorney Brenden Long will be leaving his employment with the City to become the new associate general counsel and human resources director for TFI Family Services, Inc. Long will depart on January 25th.

The city says Long has served as the city's top lawyer since September 2001. City Manager Norton Bonaparte says Long will be missed.

"I have enjoyed working as City Attorney," Long said in the city's official announcement.

"I look forward to the opportunity to work with TFI Family Services, Inc. in its efforts to enhance the quality of life for families and children in Kansas."
