Bee a Reader, Dig Into Reading, and Get Beneath The Surface. Just a few of the titles of the great book programs your Topeka-Shawnee County Public Library is offering now through the final day of July.
Not only will this be founder Pauline Johnson's last official meal as a volunteer and organizer (for the past 40 years!) but it's promising to be another feast for the hungry, and all are welcome.
Topeka's volunteers need plenty of Stove Top Stuffing, cranberry sauce, instant potatoes, yams, and canned green beans. Dinner's on! from noon to 3pm on Thanksgiving Day at the Expocentre's Ag Hall.
