(WIBW) - The Aaron Douglas Art Fair is from 10 am to 5 pm Saturday, Sept. 21, at Aaron Douglas Art Park, SW 12th and Lane in Topeka.
Visitors can look for 30 to 50 artist booths, main-stage music, a second stage for acoustic music and other performing arts, a kids zone with a wide variety of art activities, an interactive art activity for all fairgoers, and a variety of food booths hosted by neighborhood groups.
Visiting 13 News at 4 to talk about the art fair were the "Green Gals," Jamie and Kimberly, who feature recycled art, along with Kyler Carpenter, who'll be performing his children's music familiar to audiences at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library. Delighting the 4 pm audience, though, was 11-year-old Skylar on his ukelele - a warmup act for his Saturday performance!
