TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW-TV) -- A local radio station is once again hard at work raising money for sick and injured children.
Country Legends 106.9 kicked off its annual Miracle Marathon for Kids Radiothon Thursday morning, partnering with St. Francis Health.
They raised money and shared stories over the airwaves from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Their live broadcast was at the North Topeka Walmart on 2600 NW Rochester Road.
The money raised will help sick kids and their families through the Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals at St. Francis. Last year's radiothon brough it more than $100,000.
