The suspected hit-and-run driver whose truck killed two highway workers last fall is in Douglas County to face murder charges.

Ramona Morgan's first court appearance on two counts of reckless second degree murder was Wednesday.

She was transferred from Osage County, where she was convicted for the chase that followed the hit and run. Rolland Griffith and Tyrone Korte died after being hit September 11th, 2007.

Morgan is also charged with reckless aggravated battery with a deadly weapon for an injury to a third highway worker.
